Hi, I'm Charlie.

I have worked with students for over 25 years in education and ministry settings. Since 2005, I have had the privilege of serving the North Georgia Conference in the local UMC churches in the Metro Atlanta area. Prior to my time in youth ministry, I was a Deaf and Hard of Hearing teacher and adjunct professor teaching ASL. I’ve served in thriving churches where I not only built a ministry where students felt unconditional belonging but also led on-campus programs at local middle schools. I am passionate about making space for students to have a voice in their church and community.

My extensive experience with students and families along with my Advanced Coaching Certification, gives me a unique approach to ministry. Since 2017, I have been working with the Rethink Group where I get the honor of coaching and consulting with church leaders. My work with the Rethink Group has allowed me to experience global youth ministry which has shaped my coaching methods to be more strategic in working to build legacy ministries.
